They hate poor people and educators

Despite working full time and being on a payment plan they shut off my service after I paid the minimum for it to remain on. When I called to let them know I had paid the minimum they refused to turn it back on with half the payment despite the fact I have three kids, work full time in public education and go to school despite the fact I am a single widowed mom. Preferred solution: A better solution for poor people who work full time instead of me making a payment and thinking I’m good. It was shutoff after I made the payment by a week despite my call. That’s some cold hearted crap.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Customer service rep was able to determine the issue and correct it after consulting with their management.

I received a letter from ONG addressed to a different person but sent to my address. Opened the letter and it was a disconnect warning for an unpaid $500+ bill.
The letter was addressed to me, but the recipient it should have been mailed to lived over 100 miles from me and the disconnect was for his actual address.
I made a complaint through pissedconsumer.com because ONG's website has one customer service phone number and their automated system didn't have a way for me to speak with a human to get this rectified.

Not 30 minutes after making the complaint through this website, ONG contacted me to remedy the problem.
I was told by the ONG CSR that to get a human I should use the call back function on their website. I wish that little tidbit of information was also listed on their website.

Poor communication, poor billing practices

I am 58. This is the worst utility company I have ever been forced to deal with. My monthly bill should be no higher than $75 in a very cold month. My bill for February was $10 due to "computer error". My bill for March was $197 for reasons that no one has been able to explain. When I asked for help with the billing situation, I was told someone would come to inspect the meter. Instead, a technician came to my house and demanded to inspect my appliances. If you enjoy waiting on hold, deceptive communication, and being billed different random amounts, they're perfect for you.

Even though you pay your bill on time they still shut off your gas. Customer service sucks. They just want your money. They like to up charge for no reason even someone that works for them said the customer service over the phone really sucks.

Our gas was shut off the day before Thanksgiving. We had a zero balance due. No past due, zero cut off notices be it email, paper, or text. No communication whatsoever. Our account on the website reflects all of this. What kind of people do something like that before a big holiday and for absolutely no reason at all. Shameful.

Customer Service being HIJACKED by the alert phones!!!

After trying all day to get through to Customer Service on the !-29-2024 then today I tried 10 times till I called the Emergency Number just to get a human to Talk to INSTEAD OF LIFE ALERT!!! Maybe the company should take care of the primary business instead of using it to sell Third Party JUNK!!! Maybe we would not have been HIJACKED over the LOSS of Billions being Owed over the ARTIC STORM that the THE RATE PAYERS GOT STUCK WITH!!! There were several that should NOT HAVE JOB OVER THAT!!! I would wager that Not One [erson lost a job over it!!!

I couldn't make payment because my card was hacked

I called to have the amount on my payment arrangement reduced because I didnt have enough money and they reduced the payment so I went to the bank ATM to get the money from my debit card but someone had taken it So I called the card number and was ask if I made a purchase in California no someone hacked my card.

Raised the prices to Almost DOUBLE what they were last year. Never fell behind or had disconnected service in 8 years that I've been here. I was injured and been out of work and asked for a payment extension and they told me basically to go *** myself and that if I didn't have their money to them by the date that it was owed that they were going to come out and shut my gas off and yank my meter. I offered paperwork doctors notes everything and they didn't give a fat rat's *** all they care about is lining their pockets they SUCK

I sustained an injury at AutoZone on my neck drooping my head down for the last 26 months. On august 6 after a four day emergency hospitalization as I was dehydrated I was fired and having a heck of a time getting a job. Im bilingual and can work long hours and will be borrowing the money for bill and appealing to Community Care
